"My good friend was marrying a man slightly lower than her in class and status. Her family owned a successful local business while he was a bit of an odd job man. The wedding was lovely, all went smoothly and raised a few tears until it came to the speeches! The grooms dad had been drinking steadily throughout the day and decided to do an impromptu speech while we were eating. He stood up, thanked the bridesmaids, said the ceremony was lovely and then, very loudly, congratulated his son on marrying into money!!

"I went to a wedding once where they had planned to release a load of butterflies but when they went to open the box only 2 flew out and the rest had suffocated! Sad for the butterflies obviously but the bride was more concerned about the fact that they had 'ruined' her big moment! My advice is not to use animals for your pleasure....!"
